PROCLAMATION

LIFTING THE APPLICATION OF THE MARTIAL LAW

                       

BHUMIBOL ADULYADEJ, REX.

                        His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej is graciously pleased to proclaim that:

                        Whereas His Majesty King deems appropriate that the current situation is unnecessary to apply the Notification of the Royal Thai Army No. 1/2557 on The Application of the Martial Law dated 20^th May B.E. 2557 (2014) which applied the Martial Law throughout the Kingdom since 03.00 hours of 20^th May B.E. 2557 (2014) and the Notification of the National Council for Peace and Order No. 2/2557 on The Application of the Martial Law dated 22^nd May B.E. 2557 (2014) which applied the Martial Law throughout the Kingdom since 16.30 hours of 22^nd May B.E. 2557 (2014);

                        His Majesty King, by virtue of section of the Martial Law B.E. 2457 (1914), then proclaims that the applicable of the Martial Law under the aforesaid Notifications shall be lifted up.  The lifting of the application of the Martial Law as such shall not prejudice to the application of the Martial Law which came into force since 19^th May B.E. 2557 (2014).

                       This Proclamation shall come into force as from the date of its publication in the Government Gazette.

                      Given on the 1^st Day of April B.E. 2558 (2015).
